Alicia Witt will join hit drama Law & Order: Criminal Intent in its new schedule on Thursday nights in USA Network for its 7th season. The shows will premier October 4, according to official reports.  She will portray Detective Nola Falacci, who will be teamed up with Detective Mike Logan's (Chris Noth). Witt will replace Julianne Nicholson for while, until she comes back from her maternity leave. 

Jennifer Love Hewitt was the hostess in an exclusive and  private preview gathering on April 18th to celebrate the grand opening of Hanes Comfortique , the firm's first boutique designed to showcase ComfortSoft(R) intimate apparel. Among the list of guest were: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Amber Valletta, China Chow, Alicia Witt, Michelle Stafford, Mehcad Brooks, Donovan Leitch, Tara Subkoff, Evan Ross, James Gooding, Mike Brown, Chudney Ross, Samantha Ronson, et al.

Alicia Witt will play Reena Hale in  the executive  production of Peter Guber, Stephanie Germain and Peter Strauss. "Blue Smoke", the up-coming movie is about the episode Reena had to go through when she was a child. She saw how the restaurant of her familiy burnt into flames and that lead her to be a detective as a grown-up. She works in the police deparment with the person who found the responsable for the incident , John Minger ( Scott Bakula). Hale fell in love with her neighbour Bo Goodnight ( Matthew Settles)  who turns into her heroe when saved her from a  pyromaniac stalker that murder every man that approaches to Hale´s heart.
