Alicia Witt will play Reena Hale in the executive production of Peter Guber, Stephanie Germain and Peter Strauss. "Blue Smoke", the up-coming movie is about the episode Reena had to go through when she was a child. She saw how the restaurant of her familiy burnt into flames and that lead her to be a detective as a grown-up. She works in the police deparment with the person who found the responsable for the incident , John Minger ( Scott Bakula). Hale fell in love with her neighbour Bo Goodnight ( Matthew Settles) who turns into her heroe when saved her from a pyromaniac stalker that murder every man that approaches to Hale´s heart.
